Roadtex Transportation Corporation was founded in 1992 in Somerset, New Jersey by Bruno Ciacciarelli and Bob Kelly. To this day, the company is still headquartered in New Jersey, but 27 additional Roadtex facilities can be found throughout the United States in purposely placed prime locations. One of those terminal locations just so happens to be in Lakeland, Florida, where The Ruthvens are proud to meet the temperature controlled warehouse needs of Roadtex.

warehouse_450 As the nation’s leading LTL provider, Roadtex does more than serve the many different industries mentioned above. They also offer several core services that are critical to those industries:

  • LTL Temperature Control Handling
  • LTL Expedited Services
  • Warehousing and Warehouse Services
  • Logistics

Roadtex’s Lakeland location allows confectionary companies to have their inventory stored and distributed from a food grade facility. In order to properly handle the confectionary products, the Lakeland terminal, and others like it, can accommodate a wide range of warehouse needs –

  • Container Unloading
  • Customer Display Building
  • Drayage
  • Picking and Packing
  • Pool Distribution

In addition to providing the very best tools and resources to businesses of all kinds, Roadtex is one of a kind in itself. They are the only national footprint carrier that operates 365 days a year, thus allowing for continuous and trackable movement of temperature controlled shipments.
